East Hampton Councilwoman Theresa Quigley Endorses Randy Altschuler

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Monday, April 26, 2010

EAST SETAUKET, NY: East Hampton Councilwoman and Deputy Supervisor Theresa Quigley announced today that she is endorsing conservative businessman Randy Altschuler for US Congress in New York's 1st Congressional District.

"I am happy to stand in support of Randy Altschuler and endorse his candidacy for Congress in the 1st Congressional District. Randy's positive vision for our communities and fresh perspective on how to resolve the challenges of today make him the right person to represent us in Washington. Randy is a proven and self-made businessman who has the experience, message and resources to be successful in his campaign and to be an effective advocate for our needs as our next congressman," Councilwoman Quigley said.

"I'm very pleased to have the support of Councilwoman Quigley. Theresa ran for office last fall on a platform of fiscal restraint and accountability and has wasted no time in getting to work in an effort to make East Hampton's town government more efficient. As a mother, private citizen and public official, Theresa has been a dedicated servant for the betterment of our communities for some time. I will use that same energy and fiscally conservative spirit to help make Washington more efficient and accountable to the taxpayers," Altschuler stated.

Councilwoman Theresa Quigley was elected to the East Hampton Town Board in November of 2009, and is a partner with Farrell Fritz, PC. Previously, Theresa served as East Hampton's town attorney. She has also served on the East Hampton School Board and has been an active member of the East Hampton Business Alliance and the East Hampton Rotary.
