Commemorating President Reagan's 99th Birthday

Today we commemorate the 99th year of President Ronald Reagan's life. President Reagan brought true honor and integrity to the White House and was a man who personified character. He was a visionary leader for our party and a defender of freedom throughout the world. May his ideals and leadership continue to guide our party and inspire hope and eternal optimism for America.
The following is one of my favorite quotes from President Reagan:
"Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free."
